As project manager (and lead social impact designer) of the Mejor Santa Tere Neighbourhood Improvement project in Guadalajara, Mexico i facilitated the synergies between diverse stakeholders in the mid-2010's. The project, spanning 2 years, involved user research and site analysis, and the design and implementation of several participatory design and community planning activities—often led by kids!
This project was funded by the Pathy Family Foundation, and also involved other community-building activities like Heritage Walking Tours, Community Gardening, and Open-Air Film Screenings.
The following video showcases some of those activities.
