gentrifier, i is a research-creation project that explores gentrificaton from the perspective of the materials involved in construction.

The project digs into theory on urban contested space, the right to the city, and urban change/gentrification; and creatively explores these ideas by creating soundscapes, poems, and installations.

In other words: a lot of messy-dusty fun at the studio.
